This paper discusses how the “Sun” Model&nbsp; can be used for in a company producing medical devices.</em></p> Stana Bekčić ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2018-06-13 2018-06-13 46 2 13 18 10.25137/IJAQ.n2.v46.y2018.p13-18 EXPERIENCES DURING IMPLEMENTATION AND DIFFERENTIATION OF REGULATIONS ON PHARMACEUTICAL WASTE IN PHARMACIES' PRAXIS <p><em>During the previous decade, significant effort has been made in Serbia to improve health care waste management, including pharmaceutical waste (FO). Effective and sustainable FO management can be provided by passing appropriate legislative. Pharmacies, as waste generators, and health care institutions that take over unused medicines from citizens, have multiple responsibility in these processes. This paper provides results from a research conducted in 2016-2017 in pharmacies from the Network plan, in order to determine if there is coordination between praxis and legislative in FO management during the differentiation of regulations in this field. Data analysis has shown that over 90% of pharmacies sorts out waste generated during business activities, and that the amount of waste generated yearly is between 20 and 50 kg in 31,42% of pharmacies. Only 67,86% of pharmacies from the Network plan take over unused medicines from citizens, out of which 80% of pharmacies provide finances for safe FO disposal (handover to operator) from their own means. The results from the research indicate downward trend in amount of generated FO during the period 2014-2016. The main distinctiveness of the software product and the software process are analysed from the six sigma point of view. This paper presents a case study on the analysis of a measurement system used to measure the resistance, ass a major characteristic of power transformers. MSA included evaluation of stability, linearity, bias, and repeatability and reproducibility (gauge R&amp;R). Results showed that the measurement system could be accepted for the usage within six sigma project. Majstorović ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2018-03-28 2018-03-28 46 2 MONITORING AND IMPROVING ORDER PREPARATION TIME USING CONTROL CHART <p>One of the most important process during order realisation is goods preparation according to the customer’s order. Order preparation/picking process is only one of the processes that needs to be monitored in order to achieve efficiency. When monitoring performance, usually economical parameters are being observed, although time is equally important factor. There are lots of ways to monitor process efficiency, but in this paper, control chart were used. A two month period was observed with the total of 3468 orders. Aim of this paper was to determine when the uncontrolled process occurred. Also potential causes which led to the uncontrolled process were analysed. Finally, some preventive-corrective actions for reducing or eliminating those causes are provided. Application and development of the concept of quality creates the preconditions to improve the other factors of competitiveness, such as productivity and innovation. Domestic companies for many years have a problems with the competitive ability on international level. Insufficient investment in qualiz, low productivity and inadequate investments in recearsch and development activity has resulted poor competitive position of the domestic economy. Improving the quality of business in domestic enterprises will affect the improvement of the competitiveness of enterprises.
