Depending on a target market, medical devices manufacturer has to fulfils demands of local, national, regional and/or international regulations. Great number of demands must be systematised, and fulfilment has to be planned, organized controlled and followed in a precise and timely manner. Medical devices company should reply to demands of the market imposing ISO standards as control instrument on one side, and on the other, they should reply to the regulations. This paper discusses how the “Sun” Model can be used for in a company producing medical devices.
2018-06-13T14:25:50+02:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## EXPERIENCES DURING IMPLEMENTATION AND DIFFERENTIATION OF REGULATIONS ON PHARMACEUTICAL WASTE IN PHARMACIES' PRAXIS 2018-06-20T07:31:40+02:00 Svetlana Stojkov Valentina Marinković Jelena Manojlović
During the previous decade, significant effort has been made in Serbia to improve health care waste management, including pharmaceutical waste (FO). Effective and sustainable FO management can be provided by passing appropriate legislative. Pharmacies, as waste generators, and health care institutions that take over unused medicines from citizens, have multiple responsibility in these processes. This paper provides results from a research conducted in 2016-2017 in pharmacies from the Network plan, in order to determine if there is coordination between praxis and legislative in FO management during the differentiation of regulations in this field. Data analysis has shown that over 90% of pharmacies sorts out waste generated during business activities, and that the amount of waste generated yearly is between 20 and 50 kg in 31,42% of pharmacies. Only 67,86% of pharmacies from the Network plan take over unused medicines from citizens, out of which 80% of pharmacies provide finances for safe FO disposal (handover to operator) from their own means. The results from the research indicate downward trend in amount of generated FO during the period 2014-2016. It is evident that stronger support from institutions is needed in amending and implementing legal framework and improving praxis in FO management.
2018-06-13T14:25:31+02:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## APPLICATION OF SIX SIGMA IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT: MAIN ISSUES AND TRENDS 2018-06-20T07:31:40+02:00 Tatjana Šibalija
The paper discusses the adoption of six sigma methodology in IT sector, i.e. in organisations that develop information systems, in terms of barriers for six sigma implementation, success factors, six sigma approaches, tools and techniques specific for this industry. The main distinctiveness of the software product and the software process are analysed from the six sigma point of view. The significance of a closer synergy with the most commonly used method for software process improvement, i.e. capability maturity model is considered, and recommendations for future research were drawn.
2018-06-13T14:25:14+02:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## A CASE STUDY ON MEASUREMENT SYSTEM ANALYSIS IN POWER TRANSFORMERS MANUFACTURING 2018-06-20T07:31:40+02:00 Tatjana Šibalija Ekapong Patband Prasert Lakman
In any quality improvement program, measurement system analysis (MSA) is a mandatory step to evaluate the entire process of obtaining measurements. This paper presents a case study on the analysis of a measurement system used to measure the resistance, ass a major characteristic of power transformers. MSA included evaluation of stability, linearity, bias, and repeatability and reproducibility (gauge R&R). Results showed that the measurement system could be accepted for the usage within six sigma project. Besides, the main source of the measurement variation has been detected, and a recommendation for the gauge improvement has been drawn.
2018-06-13T14:24:52+02:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## AUTOMATION of DfMA PRINCIPLES in PARTS and ASSEMBLY DESIGN 2018-06-20T07:31:40+02:00 Srđan Živković Veljko Petrović
This paper discusses the possibility of using a software platform for the automatic application of the project design for production and assemblage. The specificity of Serbia's defence industry requires that this solution be multiplatform as well as ease of use in different companies located in different cities in Serbia. Testing performed taking into account the design principles for Industry 4.0. For testing purposes, the 3D model of the oil filter housing was taken. Test results are presented in this paper.
2018-06-13T14:24:04+02:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## Impressum 2018-04-10T10:49:46+02:00 admin admin Vidosav D. Order preparation/picking process is only one of the processes that needs to be monitored in order to achieve efficiency. When monitoring performance, usually economical parameters are being observed, although time is equally important factor. There are lots of ways to monitor process efficiency, but in this paper, control chart were used. A two month period was observed with the total of 3468 orders. Aim of this paper was to determine when the uncontrolled process occurred. Also potential causes which led to the uncontrolled process were analysed. Finally, some preventive-corrective actions for reducing or eliminating those causes are provided. Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that the proposed methodology is very useful for monitoring and improving the time component of the logistics processes.
2018-03-28T10:13:46+02:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## THE ROLE OF QUALITY IN THE PROCESS OF IMPROVING COMPETITIVENESS OF DOMESTIC ECONOMY 2019-02-17T20:26:08+01:00 Dejan Đorđević Dragan Ćoćkalo Cariša Bešić Srdjan Bogetić
International business practice has proved that there is a correlation between the improvement of the quality of business and establishment and development of the competitive capabilities of business organizations. Application and development of the concept of quality creates the preconditions to improve the other factors of competitiveness, such as productivity and innovation. Domestic companies for many years have a problems with the competitive ability on international level. Insufficient investment in qualiz, low productivity and inadequate investments in recearsch and development activity has resulted poor competitive position of the domestic economy. Improving the quality of business in domestic enterprises will affect the improvement of the competitiveness of enterprises. The application of modern methods and management techniques should enable improvement of productivity, as well as the quality of business.
2018-03-28T10:11:13+02:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement##
